Isocheck Impact Mat 300 Soundproof Matting

The isocheck Impact Mat 300 system is designed to reduce impact and airborne sound transmission through timber floors.  Impact sound reduction is upto 40dB.  Isocheck Impact 300 Impact Mat consists of three layers, 2 outer layers high density mass-loaded vintl and the middle is a isofibre core. When installed as part of a complete party floor construction the system enables a timber floor to meet the sound transmission standards of Approved Document E 2003 and amendments in 2004,2010, 2013 & 2015.

The boards are laid in a brickbond pattern.  Engineered flooring and laminate flooring can be laid directly onto isocheck Impact Mat 300 although a 3mm layer of plywood over the Mat would improve performance and stability.   Please make sure that the sub-floor is level prior to laying the Impact Mat, as the mat will not level your floor.  ideal for floor upgrades when looking to improve sound reduction on stairs and under engineered wood floors.

Fit the Angled Flanking Band around the perimeter as you lay the boards SEE LINK, skirting is then fitted on top of the band, which can then be trim off.  If the skirting boards are already on, fit the Isolation Strip SEE LINK against the skirting before laying the boards.  This can be trimmed as necessary after installation of the boards.

Thickness of the boards are 12mm, width is 1000mm and length is 1200mm.  Each board covers an area of 1.20m2.  Total weight of each panel is 15kg.

Returns Policy

Under the Consumer Contract Regulations the Customer has the right to return full orders within fourteen days of the Goods being received without giving a reason.  Goods returned must be in a saleable ‘as new’ condition and returned in their original packaging.  Shrink-wrapped and factory packaged Goods must be returned unopened.  In the unlikely event that you wish to return your order, all returns are subject to a 25% re-stocking charge and the customer will be charged for the transport costs of the goods back to the manufacturer from which they came, we will arrange the transport back.  We buy direct from the manufacturers who ship on our behalf, we are an Internet Only Business and do not hold any stock or have our own warehouse.  Therefore this is the reason the 25% re-stocking charge applies as this is what we get charged from our suppliers.  Part orders cannot be returned.

Our supplier/manufacturer will arrange transportation and the customer must pay all costs involved in transporting the Goods back to the warehouse from which they came. The Goods must be insured whilst in transit for the full value of their cost price. Returns made under this provision must be agreed in writing or by email by both parties before the Goods are returned.  The Company will not refund the costs of delivery and labour etc. that the Company incurs in supplying the Goods. Once the product has been returned and checked by our suppliers to confirm it is in a resaleable condition, only then will the refund be processed.  The refund will be made to the credit or debit card that was originally used to complete the transaction.

This provision is not applicable to ‘special order’ or bespoke items.  Any special order or made to order products cannot be returned.

Goods supplied incorrectly entirely through the Company’s fault will be re-supplied at no cost to the Customer.
